ABOUT MY ART
Nature is my refuge and my inspiration. Beauty, integrity, purpose, and pathways reveal themselves in the natural world. I try to capture the details, not losing sight of the big picture.
What I call my "Nature Illustrations" are drawings, sketches, and scientific illustrations created during my work as a biologist, artist and teacher. They focus on connecting with each other and with nature.

Like so many of us who love and spend time in the natural world, I am dismayed at the changes brought about by human impacts. I try to put my thoughts into pictures in my new work.
